NWCCD offers many scholarships, targeting a variety of students. Please refer to “Standards of Progress Policy,” or the Student Handbook for more information.

To be considered for institutional scholarships, students must submit to the Financial Aid Office, at Sheridan College, no later than March 1:

  1. Financial Aid Scholarship Application. (Paper Application or Electronic Application)
  2. Letter of Application. The letter of application should be 500 words or less and should include, but not be limited to, the following information about the applicant:
    1. Goals and objectives.
    2. Why you think you deserve the scholarship.
    3. Recognition or accomplishments received within the past three years.
    4. Any other information that you feel we should know.

The Student Affairs Committee will review applications and select recipients on or before May 1. Students who are selected to receive a scholarship will be notified from the Financial Aid Office.
