Northern Wyoming Community College District (NWCCD) is a multi-campus community college serving Sheridan, Campbell, and Johnson Counties. Committed to creating student success and making a difference in the communities it serves, NWCCD serves over 8,000 credit and non-credit students per year.
NWCCD offers many scholarships for a variety of students. These scholarships are not dependent on financial need nor are they solely based on academics. Both full-time (12 credit hours or more) and part-time (minimum of 6 credit hours per semester) students may apply. All students must comply with Standards of Progress to remain eligible. Please refer to “Standards of Progress Policy” or the Student Handbook for more information.
Primary consideration for scholarships being awarded for the upcoming academic year will be given to applications received on or before March 1. Application can be made at https://sc-stars.sheridan.edu/stars/default.aspx
The Scholarship Committee will review applications and select recipients before May 1. Students who are selected to receive a scholarship will be notified by the Financial Aid Office.
