DHYG* 2405 - Dental Anatomy


This course involves study of basic dental terminology, tooth form and function, occlusion, notation systems, tooth morphology and eruption and exfoliation patterns. Relationships between structure, function and clinical practice of dental hygiene will be emphasized. Laboratory exercises will include examination of natural teeth, tooth models and skulls.
