DHYG* 2400 - Anatomy/Physiology Head & Neck
This course involves study of the structure and function of all elements of the head and neck, with special emphasis placed on those structures associated with the masticatory system. Course content includes: skull osteology, sinuses, muscles, neuroanatomy, blood supply, lymphatics, fascial spaces and the temporomandibular joint. Relationships between structure, function and clinical practice of dental hygiene will be shown.
