MUSC 2410 - Sound Reinforcement

This course serves as an introduction to the theory, techniques and equipment used in live sound reinforcement and recording.  Topics include sound theory and acoustics, cables, mixers, signal processors, microphones, and loudspeakers.  Live recording techniques are explored and implemented.  Qualifications and duties of a professional sound operator are also examined.
