The Dental Hygiene program is two years in length after required pre-requisite coursework, and is accredited by the American Dental Association, Commission on Dental Accreditation.  Class size is limited to 24 students, and courses must be taken in sequence beginning in the fall semester of each year.  The program has a cooperative agreement with the University of Wyoming, whereby students are concurrently enrolled at both Sheridan College and UW during their second year of the program, earning upper division credit towards a Bachelor of Science degree.  Students graduate from Sheridan College with an Associate of Applied Science degree and may simultaneously graduate from UW with a BS degree.  Students may also choose to complete the BS degree at a later time. Graduates of Sheridan College are eligible to take licensure exams in any state.
