The music program of study at NWCCD is designed to provide basic core courses that prepares students for upper-level study in applied music, music theory, music history, music education, music composition, or music production.
Students electing to major in music are expected to become proficient in written and aural theory, acquire an historical perspective of music, and develop instrumental and/or vocal performance skills in solo and ensemble settings.
