The Physical Education program of study is designed to prepare students to meet academic standards leading to a Bachelor’s degree and to prepare future teachers for the K-12 classroom and related professions in the broader discipline.

 Physical Education Program Outcomes:

1. Describe the characteristics of primary and secondary physical education.
2. Analyze individually observed teaching performances.
3. Analyze current issues and trends in physical education, fitness, and wellness.
4. Explain the physical education field’s contribution to child development.
5. Apply Universal Precautions in a safe and effective manner when handling bodily fluids.
