BIOL 2023 - Plant & Fungal Biology This course provides an introduction to the diversity of organisms that may be categorized as plants or fungi with explorations of structure and function, genetics and evolution, ecology and conservation, and cultural and technological uses. This course is intended for students who want to gain scientific knowledge about plants and fungi and who may be pursuing careers in biology or agriculture.
Prerequisites: BIOL 1010 - General Biology I with a grade of “C” or better
General Education Requirement: Life Science
Credits: 4
Contact Hours: 3 lecture, 3 lab hrs/wk
