MUSC 2055 - Music History Survey II This course examines the music and aesthetics of Western art music from the Classical through the Contemporary eras. Major composers and their works are put into historical context. Critical listening, thinking and analytical skills are developed. The skills practiced and learned provide students with the fundamental knowledge of music history required for further study in the discipline.
