MUSC 2190 - Percussion ll This course offers weekly, 30- or 50-minute private lessons in percussion performance and techniques to students majoring in music. It is required for second-year music majors declaring percussion as their primary instrument. A maximum of 4 credit hours in MUSC 2190 Percussion II can be counted toward the Associates of Fine Arts degree in music.

Prerequisites: Two semesters of study in MUSC 1190 Percussion I
Co-requisites: None
Minimum Student Competencies Upon completion of MUSC 2190 Percussion II, the student will:
- demonstrate mastery of technique required for assigned repertoire studied.
- perform with accurate intonation, rhythm, and articulation.
- produce good tone quality.
- apply interpretation consistent with the stylistic performance practices associated with each piece studied and performed.
Program Outcomes Upon completion of MUSC 2190 Percussion II the student will:
- perform varied repertoire associated with the student’s primary instrument.
