Minimum Student Competencies Upon completion of ENGL 2492 Literary Topics:, the student will:
- explore questions of human existence in terms of the specific literature assigned.
- explore how the literature relates to questions of qualitative meaning and values in human society.
- apply the appropriate terminology and basic concepts of the specific genre and type of literature.
- critically analyze the literary type.
- explain historical traditions in relation to the literary works studied.
