MUSC 2120 - Double Bass II
This course offers weekly, 30- or 50-minute private lessons in double bass performance and techniques to students majoring in music. It is required for second-year music majors declaring double bass as their primary instrument. A maximum of 4 credit hours in MUSC 2120 Double Bass II can be counted toward the Associates of Fine Arts degree in music.

Prerequisites:
Two semesters of study in MUSC 1120 Double Bass I
Minimum Student Competencies
Upon completion of MUSC 2120 Double Bass II, the student will:
- Demonstrate mastery of technique required for assigned repertoire studied.
- Perform with accurate intonation, rhythm, and articulation.
- Produce good tone quality.
- Apply interpretation consistent with the stylistic performance practices associated with each piece studied and performed.
