ENTR 1500 - Intro to Entrepreneurship
This course is designed for the entrepreneurial person interested in starting a business. Emphasis will be on the development of a business plan including the finance, accounting, management, and marketing requirements.

Minimum Student Competencies
Upon completion of ENTR 1500 Introduction to Entrepreneurship, the student will:
- List major components of a business plan.
- Explain the need for a business plan.
- Develop a business model.
- Create vision and mission statements.
- Analyze the market, including a profile of the customer base and the competition.
- Develop a business financial model.
- Describe how to manage the financial resources.
- Develop skills to research specific industry opportunities.
- List sources of funding and raising capital.
- Design a business plan outline for a specific business which includes a marketing plan and an advertising campaign.
