ANSC 2010 - Domestic Animal Metabolism This course will introduce students to the principles of cellular and whole body metabolism in livestock, both monogastric and ruminant. Fundamental aspects of cellular metabolism of carbohydrates, lipids, and proteins will be covered. The relationship between cellular compounds of storage and generation of energy, production of structural tissues, and dietary nutrients will be explored.
