BADM 2040 - E-Commerce This course introduces both the theory and practice of doing business over the Internet. This course covers business strategies and the economic foundations that make up the infrastructure of e-commerce dealing with hardware, networks and software. It also covers the specific technologies and support services needed for typical business applications such as secured payment systems, communications standards and legal issues in the areas of business-to-consumers, business-to business, and intrabusiness. This course describes what E-commerce is, how it is being conducted and managed, its major opportunities, limitations, issues, and risks. Minimum Credits: 3 Grading: Letter
