CRMJ 2300 - Counseling Skills This course is designed to examine the concepts and skills of counseling. It defines the role of the counselor. Students analyze appropriate counseling techniques. Students identify appropriate guidance to clients within the criminal justice system. Students differentiate the counselor’s role within the criminal justice field. Students develop counseling skills to be used in the field. Prerequisites: Completion of or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 1010 English Composition I Minimum Credits: 3 Cross-listed: CNSL 2300 and SOC 2300 Counseling Skills Grading: Letter
