ES 2310 - Thermodynamics This course introduces the fundamentals of thermodynamics, including the First and Second Laws of Thermodynamics, real and ideal gasses, reversible and irreversible processes, and balanced of energy, mass, and entropy. Practical applications are considered in the form of steam power cycle, heat engine and refrigeration cycles. Prerequisites: MATH 2210 Calculus III, CHEM 1020 General Chemistry I, and either ES 2120 Dynamics or PHYS 1310 Physics I, with C or better, or instructor consent. Minimum Credits: 3 Grading: Letter
