THEA 2020 - Theatrical Backgrounds Drama II

This course will cover the study of theatre and plays from the 18^th century to present day. Students will study the social and historical backgrounds to theatre and consider how theatre shaped society and society shaped theatre in this period. Students develop a foundation in the literature and artistic movements in theatre. They will examine the key issues in world theatre in this period.
Prerequisites: THEA 2010 Theatrical Backgrounds I
