THEA 2020 - Theatrical Backgrounds Drama II
This course will cover the study of theatre and plays from the 18th century to present day. Students will study the social and historical backgrounds to theatre and consider how theatre shaped society and society shaped theatre in this period. Students develop a foundation in the literature and artistic movements in theatre. They will examine the key issues in world theatre in this period.
Prerequisites: THEA 2010 Theatrical Backgrounds I
Minimum Credits: 3
