SAFE 1551 - General Industry Safety I This course is for entry-level workers and covers the fundamentals in making a workplace safer. Half of the course covers OSHA mandated information with the rest of the class dedicated to common operations found at general industry sites in the region. Students learn to identify workplace hazards, reporting requirements, worker rights and employer responsibilities. Students earn an official OSHA certificate upon successful completion of the course. Minimum Credits: .5 Grading: Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory
