MUSC 2300 - Principles of Arranging This course serves as an introduction to the methods of arranging for instrumental and vocal ensembles. Topics include reharmonization, melodic paraphrasing, orchestration, and development of formal structures. Students will also survey the characteristics and limitations of various acoustic and electronic instruments. Prerequisites: MUSC 1040 Written Theory II or permission of instructor Minimum Credits: 2 Grading: Letter
