MGT 3340 - Intro to Risk Management This course will examine risk assessment and management techniques, methods, and models used in industry to minimize, control and communicate risks, including conducting various risk management protocols. Application and discussion of the risk management practice is critical to develop an understanding of risk parameters and developing decision making skills. The goal of this course is to engage students in active discovery of risk management principles, enable students to develop an effective risk management program to reduce losses, improve financial performance, and increase employee safety and morale. Prerequisites: Advanced Writing with a “C” or better and FIN 3200 Managerial Financial Economics. Minimum Credits: 3 Grading: Letter
