MGT 3410 - Human Resources Management This course is designed to develop an understanding of the functions and skills needed by supervisors and managers for managing Human Resources (HR). Students will examine challenges, opportunities and trends relating to equal employment opportunity, federal guidelines regarding protected classes, jobs, labor, training, employee health and safety, compensation and employee relations, and learn to recognize and properly apply HR policies and procedures in the workplace. Prerequisites: Student must be “Sophomore Standing” and must have completed Advanced Writing with a “C” or better. Completion of or concurrent enrollment in MGT 3230 Applied Supervision Minimum Credits: 3 General Education Cultural Studies-Social & Behavioral Grading: Letter
