MGT 3440 - Contract and Quality Management This course provides students an overview of contract management processes and quality management initiatives.
Part 1. Students will learn the process of acquiring external resources through suppliers and the legal requirements associated with contracts, and study the best practices regarding contract management and purchasing within a project management environment.
Part 2. Students will acquire knowledge about various initiatives to improve quality and to better understand the area of Quality Management. The course also aims to help the students to develop practical skills as a means to facilitate improvement initiatives. Prerequisites: Advanced Writing with a “C” or better. Minimum Credits: 3 Grading: Letter
