MGT 4100 - Developing Leaders for Today’s Global Markets This course incorporates leadership theory and the emerging issues and challenges. Additionally, students develop solid leadership foundations that focus on the demands and opportunities of a dynamic organization that functions in a global environment. Students understand how a leader’s personality and leadership style impacts the workplace and evaluate ways to improve their individual and organizational leadership effectiveness. This course examines topics such as the increasing diversity within our communities and ethical leadership approaches to a variety of organizational needs.
This course will help prepare you for future leadership, and will increase awareness and understanding of the global business community and the leadership skills that are necessary for the leaders of tomorrow. Prerequisites: Student must be “Junior Standing” and have completed Advanced Writing with a “C” or better. Minimum Credits: 3 General Education Cultural Studies-Global Diversity Grading: Letter
