CNTK 1750 - Sustainable Building Design This course provides students with an understanding of energy efficiency and sustainability as if pertains to building design. Emphasis will be place on materials and material usage, energy systems, and location selection to provide the minimal impacts on the environment. This coarse will also address industry standard in the International Residential Code (IRC) for one and two family dwellings. Prerequisites: Successful completion of, or concurrent enrollment in, CNTK 1510 Construction Safety and the Use of Tools, or instructor consent. Co-requisites: Enrollment in construction technology course sequence. Minimum Credits: 3 Grading: Letter
