ITEC 2360 - Teaching with Technology


Students discover how technology adds significant value to students’ learning of PK-12 core curriculum (i.e., language arts, science, math, social studies, computer science, art, music). Students will explore and evaluate a variety of technological and educational resources and learn to make decisions about appropriate applications. Students will build dispositions and practices to collaborate with colleagues and students to create a culturally competent community. Students will develop information literacy, ethical responsibility, problem-solving, effective digital communication, and computational thinking skills to model and nurture creativity to communicate ideas, knowledge, or connections.
Prerequisites: Grade of C or better in ENGL 1010 English I, EDFD 2020 Foundations of Education, and EDEX 2484 Introduction to Special Education, AND a grade of C or better, or concurrent enrollment, in EDFD 2100 Educational Psychology
Minimum Credits: 3
Grading: Letter
