MUSC 1425 - History of Rock Music

This course examines rock music’s historical, musical, and socioeconomic development from its origins to today. Major stylistic trends, performers, producers, and songwriters are studied. Emphasis is on the development of tools for critical thinking and active listening. No prior musical experience is assumed.
