INDM 4395 - Industrial Technology Capstone This course will provide students an Experiential Learning (EL) opportunity. Students will apply the knowledge and skills that they have learned in the classroom in a work setting with an Industry Partner. Projects will provide practical experience and build a portfolio showcasing progress towards the mastery of these skills.
This course is designated as an Occupational Lecture/Lab course, which represents a minimum time commitment of 67.5 hours of in-class work and 67.5 hours of self-directed work to be completed with the assistance of the student’s Industry Partner. While set by the individual instructor, students should expect a course commitment of approximately 180 hours or more.
The course is to be completed in the last semester before graduation. Prerequisites: Students must have “Senior Standing” and must have completed INDM 4880 Industrial Technology Training with a “C” or better, and completed a 1-course Program Elective focusing on Traditional, Public, or Non-Profit Business with a “C” or higher, and have a Partnership Agreement. Minimum Credits: 3 Grading: Letter
