MGT 3230 - Applied Supervision This course introduces students to the supervisor’s role in organizations. This course emphasizes the development skills necessary to achieve organizational objectives using interpersonal communication and Human Resources policies and procedures necessary to hire, document, motivate, correct, and evaluate employees. The course also examines challenging situations facing today’s supervisors, including ensuring the safety and health of employees, effective conflict resolution, and leveraging diversity for productive team environment. Prerequisites: Junior standing, and completion of or concurrent enrollment of Advanced Writing. Co-requisites: Advanced Writing Minimum Credits: 3 General Education Cultural Studies-Social & Behavioral Grading: Letter
