PSYC 2380 - Social Psychology Explores how individuals’ thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are shaped by social contexts and the presence of others. Topics include social perception, attitudes, conformity, group dynamics, prejudice, aggression, prosocial behavior, and cultural influences on human interaction. Emphasis is placed on understanding classic and contemporary theories, ethical considerations in research, and the application of social psychological principles to real-world issues. Completion of or concurrent enrollment in PSYC 1000 and ENGL 1010 is recommended.
