ACCT 1010 - Accounting I This is for students who need a basic course in accounting theory and practice. Emphasis will be placed on the type of information that the language of business provides for decision makers. In addition, the basic mechanics of the accounting process, which allow users of accounting information to understand how events are operationalized in the accounting system, are covered. Students will understand that accounting is a vital link between business events and business decisions in a complex environment.
