COSC 1005 - Introduction to Visual Basic In this course, students acquire a knowledge of programming techniques in Visual BASIC, an event- driven programming language. Topics are to include at least Windows applications, using Visual BASIC controls and forms, defining variables and arrays, reading files and debugging.
Prerequisites: DVST 0930 - Intermediate Algebra or higher college math course with a grade of “C” or better or Algebra placement score 66-100, or College Algebra score 00-64 or ACT score of 23. Lab required.
Credits: 3
Lecture/Lab Hours: 2 lecture, 2 lab hrs/week
