DHYG 2405 - Dental Anatomy This course involves study of basic dental terminology, tooth form and function, occlusion, notation systems, tooth morphology, eruption, and exfoliation patterns. Relationships between structure, function, and clinical practice of dental hygiene will be emphasized. Laboratory exercises will include examination of natural teeth, tooth models and skulls.
Prerequisites: Admission to the Dental Hygiene program required.
