GEOL 2080 - General Field Geology This introduction to the principles of geologic field studies includes lecture/discussion, lab work and field trips. The major emphasis is upon examination, description, and interpretation of outcrops, geologic structures, and landforms. Preparation of topographic and geologic maps and reports is included. Labs involve a variety of structural problems in the Rocky Mountain West. This course is designed to give the student field experience in geology. Offered summers only.
