ES 2110 - Statics This course introduces static equilibrium of forces, force systems, and moments of forces as applied to rigid bodies for engineers. It emphasizes vector analysis in both two- and three-dimensions. Related topics include the analysis of frames, trusses, machines, friction, centroids and moments of inertia.
Prerequisites: MATH 2200 - Calculus I with a grade of “C” or better.
Credits: 3
Lecture/Lab Hours: 3 lecture hrs/week
