PEPR 2069 - History & Philosophy of Sport This course addresses historical and philosophical aspects in the development of physical education and sports. Students will analyze the contributions of the Greeks, Romans, Scandinavians, and Europeans and the impact these contributions had on world sport. Students will also study influences of early American Sport including Native American Sport. Students will not only review sport in a historical context, but they will also review the dynamics of the philosophy in a changing culture.
