PSYC 2210 - Drugs & Behavior This course provides an introduction and overview of the various substances the human body is exposed to and how we react to them. Students analyze the interaction between drugs and human behaviors. Students predict the function of the major groups of legal and illicit substances and examine U.S. drug policy. Students also categorize the social effect of drugs on humans as well as evaluate drug activity and its use.
Prerequisites: Complete PSYC 1000 General Psychology or SOC 1000 Sociological Principles, or instructor consent
Credits: 3
Lecture/Lab Hours: 3 lecture hours/week
