Business – it touches every part of our lives. From production of products to consumer purchasing, from decision making to selling yourself on an interview. Do you want security for the future? Invest in a business degree at Sheridan College or Gillette College where there will always be a market for you.
Small classes allow more opportunity to learn from in-depth discussions about current events in the world of business and how they directly affect you – the future business leader. The opportunity to share experience and knowledge from other students and instructors is more practical than a traditional textbooks course, when you are “on the job” and have to make decisions. Smaller classes allow for a more in-depth learning process making you a finer skilled leader resulting in being in greater demand to customers and employers. End result – more money!
Additionally, Sheridan College and Gillette College have state-of-the-art technology at your disposal to learn the business skills of presenting to clients and employers, as well as researching and analyzing data turning it into useful information. This is the Information Age and our Business Department has the tools to teach you how to use the technology to make the most of your career.
Our two year A.S. in General Business will provide you with the skills necessary to be efficient in fields such as Office management, Bookkeeping, General Office Clerk, Records Management, or a provider of Administrative Support for a business office.
If a Bachelor’s degree is in your future, an A.S. in Business will provide you the basic foundation for further study at a university or four year college. Whether you want to study Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management, Computer Information Systems, or International Business – you will learn from qualified business instructors with real-world business experience and the knowledge of what it takes to be successful in the world of business.
