The Medical Assistant Certificate Program is an intense two semester course of study to prepare graduates to acquire the skills necessary for entry-level jobs in medical settings. Graduates are prepared to work in ambulatory medical settings such as physicians’ offices, clinics, and surgical centers; they function as members of the health care delivery team and perform administrative and basic clinical procedures. This program is offered on the Gillette campus only.

Prerequisite Courses
These courses must be completed prior to being admitted to the Medical Assisting program. Fall Semester - 13 credits
Spring Semester: 14 credits
