The Computer Information Systems AS Program is designed for students interested in careers such as Information Systems or Information Technology Management, business application developer or manager, operating research analyst, or computer hardware/software support management.
Computer Information Systems AS Program Outcomes:
- Apply programming and scripting knowledge to solve basic problems in a business environment.
- Use markup languages to present information in web pages.
- Use scripting languages to build interactive components on a web page.
- Ability to use both procedural and object-oriented coding techniques
- Understand e-commerce concepts used in modern day websites.
- Understand the ways an information system affects an organization’s competitive advantage.
