Construction Technology Certificate

The Construction Technology Certificate Program emphasizes the hands-on facets of the industry as well as drafting and management skills. The program prepares students for entry-level positions in occupations related to the design and construction of buildings. Students develop skills and technical knowledge that apply to the field work and construction management practices; with these skills students are prepared for entry-level employment or may continue in the AAS program for job advancement within the industry.

Program Outcomes:
  1. Integrate information from residential and commercial blueprints to solve building problems

  2. Apply communications skills in an industry setting

  3. Operate construction tools and equipment

  4. Perform wood cutting and milling operations

  5. Perform construction mathematics applications

  6. Employ construction safety skills
