Associate Degree in Nursing

The Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) at NWCCD is designed to prepare nursing students for entry into the workforce as a Registered Nurse or transfer into an upper division program for a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN). The degree is designed to lead directly from the Nursing Certificate program and prepares students for licensure as a Registered Nurse.
Institutional Requirements:

Complete a minimum of 60 credit hours at 1000 level and above.

Complete a minimum of 15 credit hours at NWCCD.

Have a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better in 1000-level classes and above. The ADN degree does require a 2.5 cumulative grade point average in 1000-level classes and above.
