Human Services Certificate of Completion

The Human Services certificate is designed to prepare students for employment opportunities in group homes and halfway houses; correctional, intellectual disability, and community mental health centers; family, child, and youth service agencies, and programs concerned with alcoholism, drug abuse, family violence, and aging.

Program Outcomes:
  1. Identify appropriate intervention services. 

  2. Analyze conditions that promote healthy human functioning. 

  3. Communicate using oral, written, and interpersonal skills. 

  1. Apply learning within the community or through scenario based applications. 

This program may be offered online.

Freshman Year


Fall Semester - 16 credits


Spring Semester - 14 credits
