Accounting - Enrolled Agent Certificate

The Accounting-Enrolled Agent certificate is designed to prepare students for the Enrolled Agent (EA) exam. EAs are federally licensed tax practitioners who may represent taxpayers before the IRS when it comes to collections, audits, and appeals. Additionally, the program provides students with the skills needed to work professionally with individuals and businesses for strategic tax planning, tax preparation, and accounting services.
Program Outcomes:

Relate principles and practices of accounting to analyzing and interpreting financial statements.

Apply accounting principles to preparing taxation reporting and compliance.

Show the appropriate procedures for preparing individual, partnership, and corporate taxes, including reporting for income payroll, sales, and personal property.

Understand compliance in accounting, reporting and taxation.

Prepare for the IRS Special Enrollment Exam (SEE).
