The Plant Cultivation and Landscaping certificate will prepare students for careers in crop production and landscape management. Professionals and avid gardeners can also improve their skills and knowledge in horticultural applications. Students will receive hands-on training in plant identification, cultivation, propagation, management and business practices. 

Program Outcomes:

1. Manage environmental factors that promote healthy plant growth and propagation in outdoor and controlled environment situations.

2. Identify plant material used in the horticultural industry throughout the inter-mountain west.

3. Apply business principles when making plant cultivation and landscaping decisions.
