Art AFA

The Art AFA Program provides a strong foundation in a wide variety of fine art disciplines.  It is designed to prepare students for transfer into baccalaureate program and integration into the broader discussion of art.  Through course offerings ranging from introduction to drawing to advanced ceramics, students examine art history and criticism as well as acquire entry-level skills needed for numerous career choices.

Art Program Outcomes

• Explore the Principals of art and design.
• Apply the principals of art and design in a variety of media to create visual organization.
• Analyze work made in courses.
• Critique work made in courses.
• Modify work made in courses.
• Examine different historical and cultural influences in art and design.
