The Welding Technology Program at NWCCD prepares students for work in the field of welding technology. In addition to gaining an overall understanding of welding machines, weld processes and hands on proficiency, students will develop skills in the areas of print reading, welding symbols, weld inspection, destructive and non-destructive testing, computer aided drafting and precision machine tool operation. Students will gain important knowledge and skills necessary to prepare them for weld qualification to code specifications.
