The Welding Certificate Program at NWCCD prepares students for entry levelwork in welding. In addition to gaining an overall understanding of welding machines, weld processes and hands on proficiency, students will develop skills in the areas of print reading, welding symbols, weld inspection, destructive and non-destructive testing. Students will gain important knowledge and skills necessary to prepare them for weld qualification. If students decide to pursue the AAS after completing the certificate program, they will be able to do so without loss of credit or time.
