The Agriculture Business Program prepares students for a number of exciting career and educational opportunities. Students can focus their individual courses of study to meet their own personal goals by selecting an area of emphasis from Agricultural Business, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Sales, Farm and Ranch Management, Agricultural Communication or Agricultural Education. The majority of our students continue on to four-year colleges and universities and we work closely with these schools to make the transfer process as seamless as possible.
Ag Business Program Outcomes
• Access agricultural financial information and markets.
• Apply decision-making strategies in traditional and alternative agricultural industries.
• Explain the importance of international trade on agricultural markets.
• Differentiate between marginalism and profitability.
• Analyze governmental policy’s influence on cultural practices.
